A bipartite graph G = (V , E) is bipancyclic if it contains cycles of all even lengths ranging from 4 to |V |. In this paper, we show that the hierarchical hypercube network is bipancyclic.

Cycles Embedding Problem in Hierarchical Hypercube Networks
The hierarchical hypercube network is suitable for massively parallel systems. The number of links in the hierarchical hypercube network forms a compromise between those of the hypercube and the cube-connected cycles. Recently, some interesting properties of the hierarchical hypercube network were investigated. Since the hierarchical hypercube is bipartite. A bipartite graph is bipancyclic if i...
متن کاملPancycles and Hamiltonian-Connectedness of the Hierarchical Cubic Network
We show that the hierarchical cubic network, an alternative to the hypercube, is hamiltonian-connected using Gray codes. A network is hamiltonian-connected if it contains a hamiltonian path between every two distinct nodes. In other words, a hamiltonian-connected network can embed a longest linear array between every two distinct nodes with dilation, congestion, load, and expansion equal to one...
متن کاملHierarchical Networks Into The Hypercube
The embedding of one interconnection network into another is a very important issue in the design and analysis of parallel algorithms. Through such embeddings the algorithms originally developed for one architecture can be directly mapped to another architecture. This paper describes novel methods for the embedding of hierarchical interconnection networks in the hypercube to minimize the dilati...
متن کاملHypercube Bivariate-Based Key Management for Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless sensor networks are composed of very small devices, called sensor nodes, for numerous applications in the environment. In adversarial environments, the securitybecomes a crucial issue in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). There are various securityservices in WSNs such as key management, authentication, and pairwise keyestablishment. Due to some limitations on sensor nodes, the previous k...
متن کاملDecycling hierarchical cubic networks
A hierarchical cubic network (HCN) is a topology based on hypercubes which has been introduced as interconnection network for massively parallel systems. Benefiting from interesting properties, it supersedes classic hypercubes networks on several aspects. For example, while retaining a similar diameter, the number of links per node is significantly lower than that of a hypercube of the same siz...
